English has always been a cakewalk for me, kudos to the teachers/professors I have been acquainted with. I plan to make it easier and comprehensible for my students. I look forward to getting to understand the pace and learning ability of my students and mold my teaching ways accordingly. My approach towards grammar would be understanding the rules and not learning them (come on! We have enough on our plates already). For any piece of literature, there's always a background we need to understand in order to dissect a text to the roots of its author; my approach, therefore, would be starting from the basics of it. I am looking forward to teach middle school/high school/senior secondary students, along with undergrads struggling with Romanticism, Postcolonialism, Literature Theory, Classics, European and British Drama, modern literature, pop fiction, etc. I am looking forward to conducting doubt sessions with students on a similar learning platform and tests after I finish a particular unit. My mode of language will be English mainly.
