About Me
-I am 25 years old, MBBS from AIIMS New Delhi and a lover of the Hindi language. -Taught, and teaching Hindi online, with students ranging from children in 2nd grade to Medical students to Lawyers. -I have studied Hindi formally till 10th standard but never stopped being an avid reader of the language. -I attended to, and resolved Patient queries as a Hindi language volunteer, in the COVID-19 National Teleconsultation Helpline, AIIMS, New Delhi for 4 months. -Also, I write poetry in Hindi; have participated in various Hindi Poetry competitions and also judged a few. -While in 11-12 standard, I taught two children. Now in college, I help people with Hindi and would love to teach anyone who wishes to learn.

Hindi speaking classes by a native speaker for learners of the language at any level
-In my class, verbal training i.e. speaking and repetition, would be the prime objective so as to enable the learner to participate in general day-to-day conversations using Hindi. Also, there would be handwritten notes and lots of exercises to practice. -I always try to explain the concepts grammatically, to give learners a basis upon which they develop their language skills and feel confident while speaking Hindi. Besides, I am more than willing to tailor/improvise my methodology as per the student’s individual requirements (For e.g. - If a student learns better by writing or wishes to learn Hindi handwriting). A usual class would be divided as follows: -Recap of previous session -That day’s session -Giving Homework -Discussion of previous class’ homework and Doubt session. All this would take place in a very fun, engaging way to ensure maximum concentration and learning. My classes would be helpful for anyone who is not a Hindi speaker (Indian or Not Indian) and wants to converse easily in the language. For Eg. University students, Professionals, Tourists coming to Hindi speaking regions; people of Indian origin on foreign lands who want to learn themselves or for their kids.

More About Me
Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I am very fond of Hindi, speaking, writing, reading, all. Chapter reading sessions in the class used to be my favourite. Started writing poems when I was in 8th grade. My Hindi teachers were all just wonderful and say, top class in their subjects. So, I received good training and the interest developed on its own.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
Each and everyone who has taught me in any way or any subject has been a motivation. While attending my own lectures in school and even in college, I used to observe the mannerisms of teachers/professors. The way they delivered content, kept the students engaged, etc. I still do that😅. So each one has been a motivation.
How does your work help society?
I teach Hindi to people living out of India. Some are from the non-Hindi speaking states in India. While teaching them I feel a sense of happiness that I'm bringing them closer to their /Indian culture and it would be just awesome when they would be out, conversing in Hindi.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I don't believe in the role model concept, neither I aspire to be one. One learns a lot of things from a lot of people. Just keep and nourish the good ones and starve the bad ones. That's all.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I like to sing, exercise and ride my bicycle.Also, make fun riddles and unscramble questions.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
One of my students told me, his aunt works at the same institution I am studying in. He just told me the department and I told him his aunt's name. He was in utter awe to hear that. She was a senior member and everyone in the department knew her. We had a great laugh. He and I both were amazed. It's a small world as they say.
