Hi! I'm a full-time online math tutor with over 9+ years of teaching experience. I’ve worked with students from different boards like GCSE, ICSE, IB, CBSE, IGCSE, Cambridge, A-Level and pure & applied higher mathematics, across various grade levels.

My classes are fully personalised and goal-oriented. I first try to understand the student’s current level, pace, and learning style. Once I know where the student stands, I plan the sessions accordingly — with a mix of concept-building, practice problems, exam strategies, and regular feedback. I believe that no student is "weak" in math — sometimes they just haven’t found the right explanation or enough support. I make sure students feel comfortable asking questions (even basic ones!) and never feel judged. I also share handwritten notes, custom worksheets, and homework support when needed. My focus is not just on improving marks, but on building real confidence in math. Whether you're preparing for board exams or just need help with daily schoolwork, I’ll support you every step of the way.

More About Me
Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
For me, math is a lot of things. Math is a puzzle, math is elegant abstractions, and math is logical and literal beauty. Since schooling, I was very curious about numbers and their relations. I remember I always spent a lot of time with complex problems, I wasn't very good at it, and I don't know how my younger self, instead of giving up, took it as a challenge to solve those problems. I think maybe the thrill my younger self got from solving those problems is what eventually helped me develop an interest in the field. I started teaching maths and later went for master's in advanced and applied mathematics.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
In the final years of my schooling, I became good at maths and started helping friends with their problems with the subject, all of them supported me and helped me understand my affection for teaching, and so, I tried teaching in coaching institutes and understand if I am really any good at it. After just a few months I had one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career when I met the parents of a lot of my students who were performing exceptionally well in their exams. The sheer happiness and grace on their faces and the respect we received for our work were one of the most important things that have motivated me to teach. In the recent shift from offline to online modes of teaching, various technological advancements like better audio and visuals, live simulations, and so many tools to explain things better have motivated me immensely.
How does your work help society?
Teachers always had the responsibility of bettering the society by trying to share the knowledge they have accumulated over time, I think one advantage maths tutors have isthat mathematics is one of the core subjects used directly or indirectly in every aspect of life, from going on shopping to creating medicines, building houses, machines, and essentially most of the engineering. This subject itself has so much impact on society, we merely are just helping people understand it.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
All my teachers, family and friends are role models for me as they always motivated & Supported me in my work. Other than this I would like to say we can find role models everywhere, We just need to see and get the best of them.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Apart from teaching, I like traveling and watching web series of some specific genres like comedy and drama. Also in my leisure, I am currently taking courses in dance, fashion designing & cooking.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
When I was pursuing my bachelor's, I had a lot of passion but there were a lot of things I could learn about teaching. One of my professors saw this passion and shared his best strategy for teaching, how to observe students better, how to tell if a student is actually understanding, and which students we have to work more with. That one incident changed my perception of teaching.
