About Me
I am a doctorate in Chemical Science and have around 20 years of experience in teaching students of school/college. I also have part-time teaching experience of M.Sc at FRI and B.Tech. at IIT Roorkee. I am convent educated with good command over English and Hindi.

I start with basics, emphasizing why the topic is important and where it will be used practically so the student gains interest in the topic. My approach is having a minimum number of students with maximum attention. My students have scored up to 99 percent in class 10th and 12th, and my 92 research papers are published in various international journals. I encourage students to ask doubts and take regular tests. I am flexible to change my teaching technique as per the need of the student. I believe that a student learns the basics of any topic from 6th standard onward till 12th standard. If the basics are clear, then a student can score well in academics without much effort. It also helps a lot in clearing Engineering and Medical Exams.

When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?
Since I was in my high school I was fascinated by the magnitude of its presence and how we use chemistry every second in our life without even being aware.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My science teacher, Ms Amita because she made science fun to learn, made complex concepts easy to understand which inclined my mind towards science.
What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?
Public speaking and finding a common language to communicate to larger groups of people.
In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?
Understanding of concepts not just complex ones but the basics too as they help to understand the application part in a much better way . Little imagination power, willingness to excel and communication will help a lot to love the subject.
What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?
Let me make it easy for you.
How does someone become a Super Prof?
By connecting with the students on all levels. Be as understanding as a friend so that students don’t hesitate to ask any of his/ her questions. Encourage students to ask questions, however absurd they may seem. Try answering them. Be available whenever they have hard times like exams, this builds trust and bond with the students.

Excellent! contacted Dr. Prachi for Organic chemistry for my daughter Natasha who is doing her BS in bio medical science in USA. Post demo, my daughter was happy with her way of teaching and we decided to book 10 classes. Dr. Prachi comes well prepared with the topics that she teaches in class, her internet connectivity is great which is a must for online classes. Considering the time zone difference between USA and India, she agreed to take the class at 8AM Indian Standard Time which was really helpful and supportive. I will recommend her classes for sure
