I am a mechanical engineer who has been tutoring since college. As far as my educational qualifications are concerned, I secured 92.4% in 12th standard (C.B.S.E Board) and 95/100 in Math and topped the school. Mathematics is the subject which I teach for all K-12 classes.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I love mathematics. I developed an interest in this when I was in class 11th in a question where we have to prove from LHS=RHS But this time we have to go from RHS to LHS.I started from LHS and went to RHS.I thought that RHS to LHS would be the reverse of LHS to RHS but I was stuck because I was unable to express myself how I did it.When the teacher gave the exact same method I was in Awe!!Thereon I try to find new approaches to a particular question.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I used to teach my younger siblings whenever they faced a tough topic. I gave them an easy approach and various tricks to remember the concept. When they shared the result with me I felt good about it. This was my initial motivation to be a teacher in the first place and here is where I belong. I started giving tuitions during my 3rd year of college and then in daily life I came across with the "saying and quotes" of famous teachers like Shri APJ Abdul Kalam, Shrimati Kiran Bedi etc which filled me with enthusiasm and kept me motivated. Nowadays, I'm giving online tutions for Mathematics.
How does your work help society?
My work helps the student to connect with our day to day life. That's how it connects me to society.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
If I have to think of a role model then it's TIME because whatever happens in the past is for a reason and if that reason wasn't there, then i wasn't here. So, today I'm teaching because I used to teach my siblings. Thanks to them.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I have a hobby of making English subtitles of Hindi songs. It's quite funny.I love playing Table Tennis and also Like singing, dancing, sketching.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Yes there are many. I'll share the recent one.So I was teaching the difference between constant, variable and arbitrary constant. To explain arbitrary constants, I gave an example on the units of Temperature (K-Kelvin, F-Fahrenheit, C-Celsius).If we say their First letters, it will be KFC (which is a brand) so it's kind of funny and easy to remember the topic. We both laughed at this.
