I am a Statistician, completed the M.Sc. in Statistics from University of Delhi and did B.Sc.(Hons.) from the same. I was first rank holder in my college during graduation with a score of 9.28 CGPA. I also scored 94.25% (Best four) in class 12 and 10.0 CGPA in class 10.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Statistics is a form of mathematical analysis that uses quantified models, representations and synopses for a given set of experimental data or real-life studies. Statistics studies methodologies to gather, review, analyze and draw conclusions from data.I had developed an immense interest in Mathematics during school time and wanted to use those skills to solve real-life problems. I came to know about Statistics, which seems very relevant to my interest during some research after the 12th class. So, I opted for BSc. (H) Statistics in the University of Delhi. During those 3 years of graduation, I got involved in Statistics so much that I opted for Statistics in my post graduation and now, looking forward to sharing my knowledge of Statistics with others.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I used to study at IDEAL INSTITUTE Ramesh Nagar during my school time and they had the best faculty who not only teaches well but also interacts well with students. I used to have some good conversations with them and wanted to be like them, so I started teaching my classmates in school and, within a few years, I got involved in teaching with my heart and soul in it and pursuing my career in the same field.
How does your work help society?
My work helps society in such a way that teachers provide the education that improves quality of life, therefore bringing so much to both individuals and society as a whole. Teachers increase productivity and creativity of students and therefore, of future workers.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
If I have to think of a role model for my work, then my answer will remain the same as the previous one. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
My hobbies outside teaching are playing Cricket and Chess and watching movies/web-series.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Yes, During teaching in batches, I get involved with students too much while understanding them such that they treat me as one of their good friends. Once we were having a funny conversation and, suddenly my parents gave a surprise visit during the class and, their reaction was little shock hearing our conversations, and they were like is that how you teach? and my students replied with a big "YES":pWell, involvement with students is one of the most important points to be successful in this field.
