I am Aryan Aher, a final-year undergraduate student at IIT Kharagpur. I have been providing one-on-one tutoring for the past five years and am deeply passionate about teaching. My love for Math and Science is what initially inspired me to prepare for the IIT-JEE examination, and that same enthusiasm continues to drive me today. More About Me
Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I teach concepts of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths up to IIT- JEE and NEET levels. I used to love these subjects during my school days because I found them very conceptual and interesting. I further explored more concepts and developed more interest in these subjects during my IIT- JEE preparation.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
Since I used online tutoring to help me prepare for the IIT-JEE Examination, I gradually became interested in online learning and had aspirations of working as a tutor as well.I also used to refer to youtube videos if I had any particular doubts, and got motivation for teaching from there too.
How does your work help society?
As a teacher, my aim is to help students learn by imparting knowledge to them and by setting up a situation in which students can and will learn effectively. My role is to shape the minds of the younger generation. That shaping will be on positive lines, development of a scientific and humanistic attitude and temper, and self-discipline.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
If I had to think of a role model for my work, It would be Mr. Alakh Pandey sir and Mr. Surendra K. Mishra Sir. Both of these personalities aim to provide Quality and Affordable coaching. The advice given by them is very practical. They are very passionate about their work, Hardworking, and Honest.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Apart from Teaching, I love playing cricket and volleyball, and a few indoor games as well like chess and table tennis. I also love to read comics and novels.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
As such I don't have any story to tell. But I do remember many consequences during my JEE preparation. I used to study for about 8-10 hours daily, without communicating much with my friends. But that isolation somewhat helped me to focus more on my studies. When I felt saturated, I used to play outdoor games for about half an hour, felt refreshed, and then again used to continue with my studies.
