About Me
I am a professionally trained Musician, working as a Lecturer in a Government College, having Master's degree in Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal) from Banaras Hindu University, India. I have been awarded by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India and am a graded artist of All India Radio. I have been offering classes in Music (Vocals and Instruments) both online and offline since past 20 years. NOTE: Each class is of 45 minutes My teaching method includes strong emphasis on recognition of each student's level, testing their prior knowledge and beginning their learning accordingly. My classes are focused strongly upon enabling students to have a good command over both Swar and Laya. I lay strong emphasis on recognition of each student's vocal texture and preparing them accordingly to make them trained specific to their genre. I emphasize over the basics of any topic which I teach, talking about its technicalities so that they can easily grab it. I also take tests at regular intervals to monitor their learning consistently.

More About Me
Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Music has been a core part of my life since childhood. Since I had a musical background, I began singing at the age of 5 as my mother had a lovely voice and used to sing Bhajans every morning. After that, I began my training under my Guruji and the journey went on and on. I pursued my Masters in music from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and performed as an artist at various national and international platforms. I have been acting as a vocal trainer in Delhi NCR for the past 8 years. Music has been a very crucial part of my life since then.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My Guruji has been the torch-bearer of my life. I have undertaken my musical training from him since childhood and have learnt not only music, but the lessons of life as well from him. He has taught numerous students, who are the leading successful personalities today in the field of music. My guruji is the inspiring force behind my decision of taking music as a career and undertaking the task of people's life transformation through music.
How does your work help society?
Living with music enables a person to take out all negativities from inside, provide a sense of motivation and strengthen a new vision to look at life from a different perspective. I have taught many students, and music has allowed them to come out from all their weaknesses and has given them a ray to start and lead their lives in a very unique way and undertake rapid transformation of their minds and souls.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role model for whatever I am today in self and in the field of music is all because of my Guruji. He has been the torch-bearer of my life. He has taught me not only music, but also the lessons of life for my mental and social well-being and for my overall transformation.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Apart from teaching, I like to perform on stages as a professional artist. I also like to meditate and do yoga everyday.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Yes, Sure!Last year, a 20-year old boy came to me to learn music. He was not even able to properly talk or share his thoughts or concerns with anybody and used to take depression pills. He started learning music and slowing and gradually, I have seen a rapid transformation in his personality. The boy who was so frustrated and had given up his hope to live, has transformed his emotional and mental self into a confident, optimist and rational man who can make rational decisions for him and is no more under depression. He is mentally so strong today, all credit goes to music. This incident clearly demonstrates that music has magical powers, having power more than that of a medicine to transform one's life from hell to heaven.
