About Me
I am Shalini Kesharwani, a native Hindi speaker studied in a Hindi medium school and an MA in English language. I am from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. I've always been keen in teaching. I've been teaching offline since 9 years and online since 3 years, thus have a fair experience in teaching. I would do my best to help you speak and write like a native.

The classes are for all levels and requirements; spoken Hindi, grammar, conversation improvement, accent, etc. I analyze the students' level; start teaching from basics and gradually take the level up. I give as many exercises as needed to boost up the concept and take separate time to clear all the doubts from the lecture or otherwise. Classes would be online on desired platforms. I deal with patience and try my best to embody the concepts into the minds of the students. Classes are available for all age groups.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Hindi is one of the most popular languages in India. Being a native speaker, I've always found it to be simple but glorious; just like a mother.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
As a native speaker with an immense interest in teaching, I thought of teaching Hindi. But I was not sure at all if I could. That's when my daughter motivated me and here I am!
How does your work help society?
In my opinion, teaching anything is the most noble profession. I wish that people from all over the world learn and feel the own-ness that Hindi possesses.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My mother. Mother is our first teacher; and so is our mother tongue. We start understanding, talking, and expressing, all in our mother tongue. My love for Hindi comes from my love for my mother.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Teaching is my passion. But apart from that I have many hobbies like sketching, painting, and dancing.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I remember in my initial days having a student of standard four, who couldn't read or write anything. I couldn't understand how to improve his academic capabilities as I had never in my life taught any child like that and also because I was very new to teaching. At a point, I thought of quitting, but the same day I saw him trying to read, and I felt that all he needed was the right guidance and unwavering support. I did my best and it turned out to be fruitful. I feel immense gratitude for him today because he is the student who taught me to be confident and determined in what I do.
