About Me
My passion for science always made me a responsible science communicator. I have completed my Post-Graduation in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. I started working as a science tutor in Cochin, Kerala. Since then, over a span of more than four years, I taught forty-one students in Bachelor of Science and Higher Secondary including students from Canada. I have been taking classes in Physics, Mathematics, Programming Chemistry, and Biology. More About Me
Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I am always fascinated by the Physics around us, as I wondered how the moon shows only one side and why it appears as a bitten biscuit sometimes. It's fun to explore the simple physics behind the phenomena every day we experience. That curiosity always guided me to excel in Physics.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I used to think like this: What is the best way I can utilize the knowledge, that I have already acquired, for society?. Straight forward answer that came into mind is teaching. And also I have the perception that I can confirm how much I know about the universe by teaching young minds.
How does your work help society?
I can see the enthusiasm of young students toward the scientific world. It's very pleasant to provide a platform for the youngsters to acquire knowledge and in turn, they would benefit society with new inventions and ideas.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My idol, Carl Sagan inspired me to become an effective science communicator. His articles, video shows, and his contribution to scientific literature always stimulated me to dedicate my life to spreading scientific knowledge.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
During almost my entire educational career, I always kept two hobbies with me - Volleyball and Kalari Martial Art. And of course, reading books by Carl Sagan, Isaac Asimov and Stephan Hawking made my days wonderful.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Never Limit Your Knowledge, Always Diversify... that's the motto I wish to give to my folks.
