More About Me
1. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I teach Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I've been interested in these subjects since I was in School. I always liked solving problems, doing experiments, and understanding how things work. That's what made me love these subjects even more over time.Maths helps me think clearly and logically. Physics shows me how the world around us works, and Chemistry helps explain what's happening at the smallest level. I enjoy learning how everything connects, and I love sharing that with others.I started teaching because It was my hobby since childhood & noticed many students find these subjects difficult or even scary. I wanted to help them see that these subjects can be fun and interesting with the right explanation and support.I'm excited about the Superprof ambassador role because I believe in the power of sharing knowledge, and I'd love to inspire more people to teach and make learning easier for everyone.
2. What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My biggest motivation to teach comes from the people who supported me during my learning journey, especially a few teachers who made a big impact on me. They explained things in a way that made everything clear and made me feel confident, even when the subject was tough. That inspired me to do the same for others.I also love the feeling of helping someone understand something they were struggling with. Watching a student go from confused to confident is special. It motivates me to keep teaching and to always do my best to make learning simple and enjoyable.Teaching gives me a chance to make a difference in someone's life, and that's what keeps me going.
3. How does your work help society?
By making these subjects easier and more enjoyable to learn, I help students gain confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and open doors to future opportunities. When students do well, they're more likely to achieve their goals and give back to their communities. Education is one of the most powerful tools for growth, and I'm proud to be part of that process by supporting and guiding learners on their journey.
4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
If I had to choose a role model, it would be one of my former teachers, Ashish Bhatt, who truly inspired me. He had a special way of making complex topics simple andalways believed in his students, even when we didn't believe in ourselves. His patience, encouragement, and passion for teaching stayed with me.He showed me that a good teacher doesn't just teach the subject - they build confidence, support growth, and make a lasting impact. That's the kind of teacher I try to be, and whyI see him as a role model in my work.
5. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside of teaching, my main hobby is social work. I've always enjoyed giving back to the community and being involved in meaningful activities. I was the head of the NSS(National Service Scheme) During my studies, where I got the chance to lead and take part in many social initiatives. Some of the activities I'm proud of include organizing free teaching sessions for children in orphanages, taking part in tree plantation drives, and conducting workshops with NGOson various social issues. These experiences have taught me the value of empathy, teamwork, and leadership.Doing social work keeps me grounded and reminds me why I love teaching - because both are about helping others grow and succeed.
6. Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Yes! I had a Superprof student who was struggling a lot with Maths. At the beginning, they felt really frustrated and thought they were just "bad at it."I worked with them step by step, explaining things in a simple way and giving lots of practice. Slowly, they started to understand the concepts better and felt more confident.A few weeks later, they told me they scored much better on a test, and they no longer felt scared of Maths! It was such a rewarding moment because it showed me how much a little support and patience can help a student improve and gain confidence.
