Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Since childhood from around four years of age I developed a keen interest in music. My hometown Santiniketan and its association with Rabindranath Tagore is one of the key catalyst for the same.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My family supported me and my Guruji Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty is my role model.
How does your work help society?
I believe Music and singing are few subjects which spread positivity in society and it can rejuvenate stressed mind.

My Guruji Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I also like gardening and travelling.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I have many such experiences with my students. Some of my students are retired personals and I feel very happy and proud when they feel satisfied that they are able to live their second innings meaningfully and they give the credit to me.Thanks for the platform, Superprof !
