I'm a Guitarist/Bassist/Pianist&vocalist by profession. I m a former band member of renowned band "MAADHYAM" I have done 8th grade in bass guitar, 4th year in vocals, 5th grade in piano, I've done lots of shows across the country as well as international.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Music is a stress buster and when it comes to guitar and piano, these are very much in demand for the present generation. Also, instruments have the magical powers to create an aura, open the senses and increase the concentration level of man.The first person to create an influence on me for music was my father. He was the one whose singing motivated me to take up music as a career.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
The motivation behind me taking teaching as a profession was my own experience with music classes when I was a beginner. In those times, learning was expensive unlike today and the teaching pedagogy was also very different. So my aim is to teach the kids the teaching strategies that can be worthy of their money.
How does your work help society?
In these times of competition, every parent has a vision for their child to make him/her nothing less than a doctor or an engineer, and the world of music, relaxation, and peace is becoming extinct. So, I have come up with ideas and teaching methods that can help children to learn easily and not spend hours sleeping, doing nothing productive.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My guruji, whom I believe to be my mentor, my guide, and my constant support through the time of hard work and struggle is my role model. Whatever I am today in the field of music, I owe it to him as he has taught me all the life lessons apart from music to be a successful and modest man.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Teaching is my profession and passion but my hobbies include binge-watching, traveling, and reading, at times.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
A very recent anecdote of my professional life was something that showed me that music finds its own way of entering into your life.A few months ago, one of my students left his training in between due to some personal issues and started his career as a full-time banker. His work life gave him no time to devote to his music but he came back for his training in an online mode through his bank itself when their office code of conduct demanded every employee to learn an extra skill. I was chosen as a mentor for their staff and he was chosen randomly for music.

"Ho jayaega, aap try karo " are the words that give you the confidence. My lessons have been very interactive and my playing has improved as well. Manish Sir knows how to assess the student in the firat class, an based on what we are looking for, he plans the lessons, gives expercises for practice, explains theory. I'm currently taking Acoustic Guitar lessons from him and preparing for grade 4 TLC. Very knowledgable and experienced! Highly recommended..looking for more lesons with him.
